The first Brother of the Week this year is Newly Initiated Isaiah “Zay” Bradford! Zay is a Senior majoring in math, and is a Fall ‘22 initiate. Isaiah is also a member of BSA and just recently finished his last football season. 🔥🆎
When asked why he decided to rush Kappa Sigma, he said:

This week’s Brother of the Week is Jackson Beck! He is a Senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, and is a Fall ‘21 initiate. He serves as our Community Service Chair, and has played a crucial role in helping us obtain over 900 total volunteer hours so far this semester! He also is the president of Enactus and a part of the Track & Field team at Lyon.
This week’s Brother of the Week is Payne Moser! Payne is a Senior majoring in Computer Science, and is also a part of social council and is a pole vaulter on the Track and Field team at Lyon. He was a part of the Spring ‘20 pledge class and serves as Social Chair for the 2022-23 year.
When asked how Kappa Sigma has changed his college experience, Payne said:
“Kappa Sigma has helped me meet new people as well as grow and become more involved in campus.”

On this Labor Day Weekend, the Fraternity would like to recognize recent graduate Jake Smith! Jake recently had his white coat ceremony, an event marking the beginning of his Medical School journey. He is attending the NYIT College of Medicine in Jonesboro, Arkansas to continue his dream of becoming a physician.

8 of our Brothers had the privilege of traveling to Denver this past weekend to celebrate Kappa Sigma with Brothers all over the country, while also learning what we can do to be a better Chapter. We can’t wait to apply what we have learned this weekend and create many successes to celebrate this upcoming year. 🆎🆎🆎🆎🆎🆎🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

As the year draws to a close, we would like to recap on the Fraternity’s accomplishments of this Fall.
This past semester, we were able to raise $4590 and donate 1006 hours of community service towards A Greater Cause, all while successfully initiating 12 new gentlemen into the brotherhood. A Greater Cause is Kappa Sigma’s national initiative to promote volunteerism and service to the community.
A lot of hard work and sacrifice was spent in 2022! We cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store! 🆎🇮🇹🆎🇮🇹🆎🇮🇹

This week’s Brother of the Week is Wyatt Treadway! He is a Sophomore double majoring in Biology and Chemistry, and he is a Spring ‘22 initiate. On top of being in Kappa Sig, Wyatt is also a part of the Honors Fellows Program, Honor Council, and SGA.
When asked how Kappa Sigma has changed his college experience, he said:
“Kappa Sigma has really opened my ability to make connections on campus and allowed me to experience a whole different side of Lyon.”

This week’s Brother of the Week is Jackson Fikes! Jackson is a Spring ‘22 initiate and currently serves as our Alumni Relations chair. He is a Sophomore pursuing an Education and History double major with the aspiration of becoming a teacher. Aside from being in Kappa Sigma, he is also on the Golf team and a part of SAAC.
This week’s Brother of the Week is Kaleb McCann! He is a Sophomore majoring in Exercise Science, with the intention of attending Physical Therapy school when he graduates. Kaleb was a part of the 2022 Spring pledge class, and was voted Model Initiate! Kaleb serves as one of the Rush chairs this 2022-23 term and is super excited to see this year’s Fall rush class! 🔥😁🤝
This Week’s Brother of the Week is Henry Mulder!! He is a Sophomore majoring in Exercise Science, and is also a part of the Cross Country and Track & Field Team at Lyon!! 😁
When asked why he joined Kappa Sigma, he said:
““I joined Kappa Sigma to learn more about the campus, Greek life, and about each and everyone of the brothers on a more personal level.”

For this holiday season, Kappa Sigma Lambda-Iota participated in Operation Christmas Child!! 🎄🎄🎁
Operation Christmas Child is a project that collects shoeboxes filled with gifts (toys, school supplies, hygiene items, etc.) and delivers them to children in need around the world. 😁🎁
We had an amazing time packing these shoeboxes, and with the help from SGA, were able to donate 20 boxes to children in need! 🆎 💝

This week’s Brother of the Week is Ariston Bartley! He is a Spring ‘22 initiate and currently serves as a Pledge Educator for the 2022-23 year. Ariston is a Junior pursuing a major in Business Administration with a focus in management. Ariston is also the President of Social Council and a member of Garden Club. 😁🔥🤝🌻

This week’s Brother of the Week is Devante White! Devante is a part of the Fall ‘21 pledge class and is a Senior majoring in art with a concentration in photography and graphic design. He uses his artistic talent in the fraternity by serving as our Graphics chair for the 2022-23 year. Besides being in Kappa Sigma, he is also a part of the Football team, the Art Student League, and the Black Students Association.
This week’s Brother of the Week goes to Avery Aquino! He is a Junior majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med Concentration. He is a member of the Spring ‘21 pledge class, as well as a member of the Honors Fellows program, Social Council, a Spanish SI leader, and a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field Team.
When asked how Kappa Sigma has changed his college experience, he replied:
“Kappa Sigma has made me the best version of myself. It not only has made me a better leader and student, but I also have 30 brothers who unconditionally support me in all aspects of my life, and that’s something no other club or organization has.”

The first Brother of the Week this School year is John Michael Stastny! He is a Junior double majoring in Business and Economics. Along with being in Kappa Sigma, JM is a part of RLS, the basketball team, and clay club. He is also the Student Athlete Advocacy Organization (SAAO) Vice President and the SGA Treasurer at Lyon.
When asked: “How has Kappa Sigma changed your college experience?” he said:
“Kappa Sigma has changed my life by helping me grow into being a better man, student, and leader on campus.”
