We are the largest college fraternity in the world, and our network is scattered throughout North America.
We have over 300 active chapters, more than 16,000 undergraduate members, and at least 200,000 living alumni. We are a volunteer-driven organization, with each chapter having its own individual alumni support. Rush at Lyon College
The community of fraternities and sororities at Lyon College represents years of leadership, campus involvement, academic excellence, community service, and social development. While each chapter has its own unique history and traditions, our community shares campus-specific traditions such as Chapel Walk (where each fraternity chapter introduces its new members to the campus).

Kappa Sigma’s pledge education process involves cultivating new candidates with the basic knowledge necessary to understand the Fraternity’s history, founding, growth, leadership structure, and responsibility within the Greek community as a whole.
On a more personal level, the pledge program cultivates time management and personal development skills. Such skills are critical throughout college and beyond. Emphasis is placed on the importance of responsibility to one’s self in terms of academic, fraternal, and community obligations.
